Easy Snow Tutorial

Open tube of your choice. Pick one that would look good with
snow.
Copy and Paste as New Image.
Close Original Tube.
Minimize New Image
Create a large Transparent image (500 x 500)
Fill with a dark color. I used black.
Click Layers/New Raster Layer/
Name this layer Snow.
In the Layers Palette (If you do not see your layer palette, hit
L on the keyboard)
Layer 1 is black
Snow is Transparent
Highlight the Snow Layer
Set Foreground and Background to white
Click your Airbrush (Spray Paint Tool)
Settings:
Round
Size 154, Hardness 100, Opacity 100, Step 15, Density 1
Spray Randomly (Not too heavy)
In the Layer Palette, Delete Layer 1.
I use the black layer just so I can see the snow better.
Minimize Snow Image
Activate your tube. Add Text and any effects you like.
Copy and Paste 3 times. Minimize original.
Open Snow Layer and Copy
Paste on First Image
Save as psp image.
Minimize
Paste on Second Image.
Move Snow Down slightly.
Save as psp image.
Minimize
Paste on Third Image
Move Snow Down a little more than on image 2.
Save as psp image.
Open Animation Shop
Use Animation Wizard.
1 Same size as the first frame
Next
2 Transparent or Opaque Doesnt matter
Next
3 Check Center in the Frame and with same color
Next
4 18
Next
5 Add psp images in order 1-2-3
Next
Finish
Click View/Animation
Save as a gif
Next
I use the slider all the way down for a smaller image.
