Snowdrops Tutorial By JoD Created in PSP 9 Beginner Level Supplies Needed: Graphic Mask:  FadedEdges_small.jpg HERE No outside filter needed Let's Go: 1 - Open graphic and mask in PSP.  Minimize mask for later use.  Edit/Copy graphic then Edit/Paste as a new image. Close original graphic 2 - Image/Resize Graphic to 350 height.  Smart Size, Lock aspect ratio and  Resize all layers both checked. Width will adjust itself Minimize for later use. 3 - File/Open new image width 1200 x height 350. You may choose another width if you prefer. 4 - Selections/Select All 5 - Edit/Paste into selection (Graphic should still be copied on clipboard) 6 - Selections/SelectNone 7 - Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur/15% 8 - Effects/Texture Effects/Mosaic Antique/ Default setting 9 - Effects/Image Effects/Seamless Tiling/ Settings:  Edge & Vertical checked.  Width & Transition 50 10 - If background needs toning down to be text friendly: Layers/New Raster Layer/Default settings 11 - Fill with a color from your graphic. 12 - Lower opacity of this layer to 50 or as desired. 13 - Layers/Merge Visible 14 - Activate Graphic, maximize if it is minimized. 15 - Layers/New mask layer/from image. Choose FadedEdge_small.jpg. Source luminance and invert mask data checked.
