All settings will remain the same unless otherwise specified.

Tube or Misted tube of
your choice
Place patterns in PSP,
patterns folder

Simple Filter
Preparation
Resize tube to height
of 350. Width will adjust itself.
In Material Palette,
choose a light color in the foreground.
Choose a darker color
in the background.
Set the foreground to
gradient.
Angle
45, repeat 3
Linear,
Invert checked
Set Background to gold
pattern.
Angle
0, Scale 100.
Copy tube twice (Shift+D)
Close the original
Minimize one copy.
Working on one copy of tube
Step 1 - Layers > New
Raster Layer
Layers > Arrange > Send
to bottom
Fill with gradient.
Step 2 - Highlight Bottom
Layer
Effects > Image Effects
> Seamless Tiling - Default setting
Layers > Merge . Merge
Visible
Edit > Copy
Minimize
Step 3 - New Image - 1280 x 350
Step 4 - Select All
Edit > Paste into Selection
Deselect
Step 5 - Effects > Image Effects > Seamless Tiling - Default setting
Step 6 - Adjust > Blur > Gaussian Blur - Radius 10
Step 7 - Effects > Texture
Effects > Mosaic - Antique
50,

Step 8 - Layers > New
Raster Layer
Fill with either your
light or dark color, your choice.
Lower the opacity of
this layer to 50 or to your liking
To make it text friendly
but show the mosaic effect.
Layers > Merge . Merge

Step 9 - Layers > New Raster Layer

Step 12 - Layers > Duplicate
Move right about 1 inch
(This can be adjusted later)
Step 13 - Open other tube
(without a background)
Edit > Copy
Edit > Paste as new image
Minimize for later use
Resize working copy to
175 height.
Edit > Copy
Edit > Paste as new layer
onto background image.
With mover tool, move
to the upper left and centered over gold bars.
Layers > Duplicate
With mover tool, move
to the lower left and centered over gold bars.
Adjust the position of
the bars if necessary.

Step 14 - In Layer Palette,
close all layers except the 2 gold bar layers.
Highlight one of these
layers.
Layers > Merge . Merge
Visible
Step 15 - Deformation
Tool
Pull top and bottom out
of image
Open all layers.
Layers > Merge . Merge

Raster Layer
Add your watermark
Step 17 - File > Export
> Jpeg Optimizer about 25%

Step 1 - Reopen other
tube (without a background)
Resize to 250 height
to make a lighter header
Borders add about 200
to
Layers > New Raster Layer
Layers > Arrange > Send
to bottom
Fill with gradient.
Step 2 - Effects > Texture
Effects > Mosaic - Antique
Layers > Merge . Merge
Visible
Step 3 - Image > Add Borders
3 - your Dark color
3 - your Light color

Select All
Selections > Modify >
Contract 9

Effects > Cutout

Repeat Diamond one more
time.

desired

Second Example
Assemble in Letter Creator
Put Background into body
and tile.
Choose your text and
size and color.
Adjust left margin so
text does not cover side border.
Put Header into Header - Center
Add footer - Center
