Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Needed:
PSP - I use V9 but could
be done in other versions.
Mask: zuzzanna_mask43
Right Click on above image
and save to Psp Files / Masks
Tube of choice - Must be
wider than taller.
A nice wide tube works
good.
Let's Begin:
1 - Open tube of your choice.
Edit > Copy
Paste as a new image.
Close Original
2 - Using your Dropper Tool
(E)
Choose a light color from
your tube in the foreground
and a medium color in the
background.
3 - In the material palette
choose gradient in the foreground.
Radial
- 45 - 3 - 50 - 50
4 - Highlight your tube.
Layers > new raster layer
Layers > Arrange > Send
to bottom.
5 - Fill with Gradient
6 - Layers > Merge > Visible
7 - Layers > Load/Save Mask
> Load Mask from Disc.
Find zuzzanna_mask43
Check
Source Luminance, Fit to canvas, Invert transparancy
and
Hide all mask. Click Load
8 - Layers > Merge > Merge Group.
9 - Effects > 3D Effects
> Drop Shadow

- 3 - 65 - 3 - Black
10 - Layers > New Raster
Layer
Layers > Arrange > Send
to Bottom
11 - Flood fill with either
your light or medium color,
whichever you like best.
12 - Adjust > Add/Remove
Noise > Add Noise
Uniform
- 15% - Monochrome checked
13 - Resize to 350 pixels height, width will adjust itself.
14 - With background layer
highlighted,
Effects > Image Effects
> Seamless Tiling > Default Setting.
15 - Highlight your top layer. Layers > New raster layer.
16 - Add your watermark.
17 - Save optimized at 25% compression
Background Tile:
1 - Open new 150 x 150 image.
2 - Floood fill with same color used in Step 11
3 - Add noise same as Step 12
4 - Seamless Tiling - Default setting.
5 - Save optimized at 25% compression.
Assemble in Letter Creator
Place background tile into body and tile.
Center Header into Header tab
Add credits into footer tab.
