Elvida Rose Tutorial

For this tutorial you will need:

PSP (I used PSP 9)
l & K Filter - Elvida.  Get the filter Here
A graphics of your choice.  Get the one I used Here
A Divider of your choice.  Get the one I used Here

Let's Begin

1 - Open Graphic in PSP. 

2 - Resize Graphic to 350 height. Width will adjust itself.  It does work better with a narrower graphic. Duplicate (Shift D) twice.  Minimize one to use later.  Close original.

3 - Choose a light color from your graphic for the foreground.

4 - Effects/Image Effects/Seamless Tiling - Default

5 - Adjust/Blur/Gaussian/15

6 - Add new layer.  Flood fill with your light color.  Adjust the opacity of this layer so you can easily read the text.  I used 80.

7 - Merge Visible

8 - Effects/Plugins/L en K landksiteofwonders/L en K's Elvida.  Setting 157

9 - Effects/Image Effects/Seamless Tiling - Default

10 - This is your background pattern.  Minimize for now.

11 - Open new 1200 x 350 image.

12 - In materials pallette, set pattern to your newly created background pattern.

13 - Flood fill your new image with this pattern.

14 - Open Graphic and Copy.  Paste as new layer onto background.

15 - Use your mover tool to move graphic to far left.

16 - Open your divider, copy and paste as new layer onto background.  Move against your graphic.

17 - Hightlight your graphic layer.

18 - Using your eraser tool erase any undesirable color around the divider.

19- Add drop shadow Vertical 0 - Horizontal 5 - Opacity 45 - Blur 12 - Color black

20 - Merge Visible

21 - Effects/Image Effects/Seamless Tiling Setting:  Edge - Vertical - Width 30 - Transition 50

22 - Save jpg optimized at 25.
