Color on Color Tutorial

This tutorial assumes you know the basics of PSP
Level: Intermediate
Settings will remain the same unless specified.
Needed
PSP - I used PSP 9 but
I'm sure other versions can be used.
Bordermania
Simple Filter
Graphic of your choice
Getting Ready
Open the graphic in PSP
Duplicate twice (Shift + D)
Close original and minimize one copy.
Choose a light color from your graphic in the foreground
Choose a darker color in the background.
Resize your graphic to Height of 350. Width will adjust itself.
Header
1 -Image > Add Borders, 2, light color
2 - Image > Add Borders, 3, dark color
3 - Image > Add Borders, 2, light color
4 - Selections > Select All
5 - Selections > Modify > Contract 7
6 - Effects > 3D Effects

Effects > Texture - Mosaic Antique,

50 - Effects > Image Effects > Seamless Tiling, Default setting
51 - Layers > New Raster Layer
52 - Fill with either your light color or dark color. (I used dark)
53 - In Layer Palette,
lower Opacity to about 60 or whatever lets the
pattern show but is text
friendly.
54 - Save as jpg, optimized 25%
55 - Assemble in Letter Creator
